For this project, I designed and developed the official website for Animals Need Me, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of stray animals in Northern Albania through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy. The goal was to create an online presence that clearly communicates the organization’s compassionate mission, showcases its impact, and encourages community support through donations, volunteering, and awareness building.
I began by understanding the organization’s core values: compassion, dedication, and collaboration in animal welfare. This informed a visual identity and layout that highlights the emotional and practical aspects of their work, from animal rescue and medical care to educational initiatives and spay/neuter campaigns. High‑impact imagery of animals and clean, readable typography help evoke empathy while guiding users toward key actions like donating, joining campaigns, and learning more about the cause.
To support clear navigation and engagement, the website includes well‑organized sections such as “What We Do,” “Team,” and “Donations,” making it easy for visitors to understand how the organization operates and how they can help. Strategic placement of calls‑to‑action ensures that crucial interactions, like signing up for newsletters, supporting campaigns, or contacting the team, are intuitive and accessible on both desktop and mobile.
On the technical side, I implemented a responsive design to ensure the site functions seamlessly across devices. I optimized content and imagery for performance to maintain fast loading times and smooth browsing, which is essential for capturing and retaining visitors’ attention. The final result is a website that not only reflects the heart and mission of Animals Need Me but also serves as a practical platform for driving awareness, generating social support, and making a positive impact online.
